I switch between an iMac and a Dell laptop for work, and was using 2 mice: my Apple Magic Mouse, and a cheap Windows brand one work gave me. My Magic Mouse kept on acting up (it is 8 years old) so I decided to upgrade and get a mouse that would work for both computers. I love that you can switch between computers with this mouse easily, there is a small button on the bottom that allows you to use it with 3 devices. It works seamlessly between my laptop and iMac, and now I only need to have 1 mouse on my desk.I use this for design work and am left handed. You can switch the left/right click in the mouse using the app for the mouse, as well as customize what each button does. You can even have the center click have gestures to it - I have it setup so I click it and then if I move the mouse to the left or right my desktops scroll though - very similar to the Magic Mouse. The scrolling on the scroll wheel can also be adjusted and I set it up to scroll the same way the Magic Mouse did. The sensitivity of the mouse feels better than the Magic Mouse, speedier and more accurate. The Mose shape/design is ambidextrous, so it is comfortable to hold as a lefty - but it does have 2 side buttons that are really only useful for a righty. I don't use many buttons on my mouse though and have most things setup as hot corners and gestures on my computer - so it isn't an issue for me.The charging on it is fast, I've only had it a few days so not sure how long that charge lasts - but I love that the plug is in the front of it, and is USB C.Overall I'm happy with the mouse, the design of it, the quality, and the ability to use across multiple computers. What I like- A single charge goes a long way. I have been using it for months and only charged it once- The programmable buttons- The magnetic scroll wheel. I like it so much that it may very well be the deciding factor when I am ready to purchase my larger "stay at home" mouse.- Any surface feature. I have a glass desk. No problem for the MX anywhere 3 mouse. What I dislike-Does not have wired functionality.-They aren't kidding about the compact size. My hands are not big. It's not big enough to grip a basketball. So I figured a compact mouse wouldn't bother me as much but I still ended having fatigue when using it for long sessions.- No place on the mouse to store wireless dongle if that's your preferred connectivity away from home.I purchased this mouse with the hopes of not needing to replace it every 6 months like my other Microsoft mouses, due to the scroll wheel getting gummed up and "sticky" after repeated heavy daily use. This mouse has not disappointed. The scroll wheel works just as well now as when I purchased it over a year ago. I would much rather spend money on a quality mouse like this than have to purchase a new one every six months simply due to scroll wheel issues. I also like that the features on this mouse allow for customizing the buttons, especially the option for "show desktop" which I use frequently.I needed to get a PC for work, but wanted to still use my MAC at the same time. This mouse and the coordinating keyboard make this a seamless process! Sometimes it will take a moment to connect to the other computer, but overall it transitions quickly. Just by moving the mouse from one screen to the other, I can work on both computers at the same time! Couldn't be happier!I was looking for a mouse for a corporate Windows 11 laptop, having worked on a MacBook with external touchpad for years. A 3rd party driver to use my touchpad on a PC didn't cut it. I really like this mouse, enough to buy a 2nd one for home. My only complaint is that it freezes when on the laptop screen. I think this is a windows bug, not a Logitech issue. This was not a perfect match for me. Here are the things I liked:1. Light2. Smooth3. Long battery lifeHere are the things I disliked:1. Loud button click sound2. Scroll wheel keeps spinning if you scroll up or down and then let go of the wheel3. It's a too small (the tips of my fingers land clean on the table while holding the mouse under my palm, so I have to bend my finger at a somewhat uncomfortable angle). To give you an idea about my hand size, a medium sized latex glove fits comfortably on my hand. The MX Anywhere 3 mouse is comfortable to hold. Textured plastic looks and feels good. All of the buttons feel sharp and responsive. Works on any surface including glass. The electromagnetic scroll wheel is super-accurate and well weighted, and there are plenty of customization options in the software too. Amazing battery life. There's a choice of colors to pick from: dark grey, light grey, and pink.My old MS SculptTouch loved to disconnect frequently and randomly (bluetooth) from my MS Surface Pro. It's battery life was great but not rechargeable and the scroll "pad" was not a real wheel- could never get used to it- had the mouse about 8 years.THIS Logitech MX Anywhere 3 is a big step up. Used it several months now, in and out of backpack multiple times every day. It never loses bluetooth connection unless the laptop hibernates and its scroll wheel is a real very solid wheel. Best of all, rechargeable, came with usbA to usbC cable for charging. I think the mouse is supposed to work as corded when connected with the cable, but doesn't for me, just charges, and I haven't bothered playing with the device settings because I don't really care. Just happy I don't have to wonder which month my old batteries will crap out when I really need the mouse working. Great size for backpacking, not too small, not too big, thinking Goldilocks. For context, I have smallish 16cm hands. So when I was in the market for a new mouse after relying on a Magic Mouse for the longest time, I really searched high and low. There are a ton of wireless options specific to small hands, but I really wanted one that didn't rely on batteries. I also wanted something that looked fairly sleek and didn't scream "gamer mouse" (this is a bit rich coming from the person with a mechanical keyboard that has pretty RBG lights, but I digress). I was also looking at the Logitech MX Master 3 but many reviews including Rtings and various Reddit threads cautioned it may not be comfortable for small handers....which led me to this guy, the MX Anywhere 3. Already the difference is night and day. The thing that finally made me retire my Magic Mouse was the abysmal battery life - as it was an early MM, it would barely last a week, maybe two weeks if I was lucky. Also while initially ergonomic, my hand would cramp up after long work days because the mouse's profile was pretty flat. But with the MX Anywhere 3, the battery life far surpasses my Magic Mouse. It also fits comfortably in my hand. Size-wise, it's only the teensiest bit smaller than the Magic Mouse and while my pinkie is hanging off to the side, the profile overall is far less taxing on your wrists/hands. The finish is really nice as well, and the rubber/silicone on the side is a nice touchThe MM is basically like a pair of regular flip flops, while this mouse is like a pair of orthodontic shoes lol - the former may be comfier in the short run, but it absolutely wrecks your feet in the long run. Except unlike most orthodontic shoes, this mouse actually looks good. The mouse also comes with software that allows you to map the buttons etc, which was handy. The track wheel was a new experience and to be honest I preferred it in Ratchet mode, but if you need to scroll through lines of code or documentation, having Free-spin mode will really come in handy. Having those different profiles for Safari, MS Office etc. was an added bonus as well so you can use the thumb buttons to go back/forward.I have Microsoft Office 2019 pro and unfortunately, the side scroll function on this mouse seems to work in all programs except Excel, which is such a bummer as Excel is the only program where I need side scroll. I'm going to try the previous version MX Anywhere 2s to see if that one works with Excel. If you don't care about side scroll, this is a great mouse! It's quite small -- I have small hands and it's just a bit too small for me, but I prefer it over the MX Master 3 which is too big for my hands.UPDATE:I've purchased the MX Anywhere 2s and definitely prefer it to the 3. The side scroll works with Excel and the main buttons you click somehow feel lighter than on the 3 (i.e. the 3 felt like you had to press a little harder to click, which caused me hand fatigue).Yes, it's a little on the pricy side, but in my opinion, totally worth it. I've owned the MX Master 2S for a couple of years now and it still works perfectly, so I bought this one for travel and for now, it's amazing. Now I won't remove a star for that, but there is this pointer stutter on my M1 Macbook Pro for some reason, and it's quite annoying. But since I don't know if it's MacOS, the Bluetooth hardware, or the mouse itself, I can't remove any star. Still, some of you might want to be aware of that.I still recommend it for its features, comfort, built quality and battery life. Oh, and thank you Logitech for putting a USB C charging port!I went through a few mice before this one. Most were either too big (I have average to smaller hands), to bulky, cheaply made or just awkward. I decided to splurge on this to see if it was worth the money. Now I know why there are such things as mouse snobs. I like a smaller, light mouse and this fit that criteria. The magnetic wheel is a really cool feature too. It took a little bit to get hides to because it’s pretty sensitive on the original setting, but pushing the mode button lets you change from a continuous scroll to intervals, but it’s still a smooth feel. I’m really impressed with it, and unexpectedly so. Would definitely recommend it. Works well for both work and gaming. I’ve had it for about a month now with very regular daily use and still haven’t had to charge it. The MX keyboard actually needed charging before the mouse did.I've had this mouse for 14 months and it is no longer working properly. It grabs and drops and double clicks for no reason: it is highly unstable and essentially useless (but still good battery life!). I kept it clean all the time, it was used in a clean environment, so there was no visible dust collected. Nevertheless, I've tried the online advice to blow compressed air under the buttons to remove any dust that might get under, but it did not change anything. In the process of trying to get support from Logitech, I discovered that Logitech's warranty terminated after 9 months after my purchase from Amazon, which doesn't change anything for my situation since I had the mouse a full 2 months beyond the 1-year standard warranty, but beware that the Logitech warranty is one year after Amazon acquires the product, not one year after your purchase.
